Membership Bible Training (MBT) is a 7-week series of classes about Biblical beliefs and doctrine. MBT is part of the membership requirement at Brookfield and the classes are designed for anyone who is interested in membership at Brookfield Church. The weekly class schedule is structured alongside required reading from Wayne Grudem’s Christian Beliefs. A copy of Christian Beliefs will be provided to all those who register. A light meal is offered at MBT beginning at 6:00pm, and each session will include worship and Bible teaching on that week’s topic. MBT will not meet on March 11th due to OU's Spring Break.
Street parking will be free after 6:00pm. However, the lot next to the church and the parking garage will still be metered (so, bring some quarters or download the ParkMobile parking app).
Childcare will be provided by the church and you can drop your kids off at 6:00pm. A snack will be provided for kids (the dinner is only for the adults).
Who is it for? MBT is for anyone interested in membership at Brookfield Church.
Are there any costs? No, MBT is free and a free copy of Christian Beliefs will be provided by the church to all those who register.
Does this replace the Brookfield Series? No, completing the Brookfield Series and MBT are both required for membership.
Will there still be small group? Yes, all small groups will still be meeting. If you are considering membership, attending MBT should take priority over small group. However, you are encouraged to attend both if you are able to.
